Before you get started...

You need to register with us first, for this you will need an Email address, This will be used in all communications with you.

How to register FREE on Ourbutton.com

Go to www.ourbutton.com/register  OR Click the "Join Us" button.

Complete the form with your details.

Asterisks indicate compulsory information.

• When completed Click the Gray "Register with Our Button"...
• You will receive an email from us, click on the link to activate your account. You may have to check your Junk Mail to find our email.
• Your account activation page will appear. You are now able to log in at any time with the email address and password you provided by clicking the orange log in button at the top of the screen.
• When you log in an Orange control bar will appear at the top of the screen.
• You can now construct your full website without obligation to buy, or you can post a FREE Micro business listing.
• Click the "Create New Website or FREE business listing" button
• Complete the information form that now appears with your business details These Will Appear on your website.
• Please don't forget to enter the name of the person who referred you to Our Button e.g. the Promoters name. Or enter the offer code if you received one.
• The "My Websites" page will now appear and you can now add content to your brand new website.

Important Notes

After any changes you MUST click "Save Changes" A confirmation message will appear above the editing links.

Clicking "Overview" allows you to view your changes by clicking the "View my website" button without logging out.

Return to edit mode by clicking "My Websites" on the orange bar.

Throughout the site there are question marks pointing your cursor at these gives you information about that facility. 

Setting up or Editing your website from the "My website page" 

Click on the trading name (which will be in red).

Your editing links will now appear on the left: e.g Theme, Home, About etc. Clicking one of these takes you to that items editing area.

As follows...

Business information - This has already been completed if you used the instructions on the previous page, but can be edited if required by selecting it and changing the details on the form.

The Theme (Colour) can be changed by clicking on Theme and choosing another button.

The Home and About pages and the News section are your main text areas which will be used to display your Offers, Bargains, Sales, Information, Coming Events and so on...

When the above are selected you MUST press "Click to Edit" a control bar will appear which includes Bold, Italics, bullet points etc.

YOU ALWAYS EDIT IN PLAIN LANGUAGE.

Click in the box and start typing your content, Don't forget to ALWAYS save changes.

Select Contact Page to add a short message welcoming any questions or queries.

Select News to add a news item on the news page, This is the Quickest way to inform your customers about a Sale, Offer, Bargain or Coming Event. All news items are sent to any of your customers who have activated the RSS feed.
